Take flight with Breton Air and our in-house fishing guide for an unforgettable fly-fishing experience on the world-famous Margaree River.

Depart Cabot for an exhilarating twenty minute helicopter ride over the Cape Breton Highlands and into the Margaree Valley before descending onto a gravel riverbed. You will spend two hours on the river with our knowledgeable, passionate, and experienced guide for the sought-afer Atlantic Salmon, which average 12-15 lbs, reaching up to 35 lbs.

Besides Atlantic Salmon, the Margaree River is also home to trout (Speckled, Brown) and Striped Bass, which can be found in abundance.

Itinerary:

• Guests will be shuttled from the Cabot Reception area to the helipad at 1:00pm or 4:00pm.
  ‍
• The coastal views along the Northeast-bound flight include the views along the Route 19 coastline of Western Cape Breton, Sea Wolfe Island and the Margaree River Valley.
  ‍
• Upon completion of your fishing adventure, we’ll fly North into the Cape Breton Highlands to see the views from Cape Clear before heading back Southbound for the return to Cabot Cape Breton.
